Hi, I’m Liz Chernett

My career as a creative director taught me the power of storytelling. Psychedelics taught me the power of the heart.

I have a preternatural gift for helping people dig deep and make meaningful changes in their lives. Before becoming a certified psychedelic integration coach with the Psychedelic Coaching Institute, I spent seventeen years working for fashion and wellness brands as a creative director and team lead. This work took me all over the world and introduced me to indelible mentors and mentees; I learned the value of being coached and of coaching others. I discovered my innate superpower to be a mirror of others’ latent gifts, and have since been honing my toolkit for helping them embody those gifts.

Intentional psychedelic exploration has played a vital role in my own self-actualization and transformation. Ayahuasca has helped me identify and let go of perfectionism, fear of the unknown, and constant judgment of myself and others. Psilocybin has helped me find peace with childhood trauma and nurture my inner child. LSD has reawakened my creative spirit and my ability to dream wide awake. Bufo has helped me realize the depth of my courage and understand my place in the cosmic order of the universe. My ongoing commitment to integrating these experiences (with support and accountability from multiple psychedelic-informed coaches over the years) has proven to be the magic sauce. My specialty is helping my clients cook up their own unique recipe of integration practices to further their growth and step into their power.

My training includes core competencies for working with an array of psychedelic substances (and other consciousness-expanding modalities) to fuel behavioral change for healing, personal growth, and overall wellbeing. Specific areas of focus have included: assessing client readiness; neurobiological effects and pharmacological contraindications; protocols for individualized dosage; frameworks for psychedelic preparation and intention setting; creating safe spaces and ceremonial containers; trauma-informed practices for harm reduction; ethical sourcing; and various integration frameworks and modalities to support metal, spiritual, and physical wellbeing.

In addition, I am Level 2 certified in a parts-focused modality of transformational coaching called Inner Team Dialogue—a powerful complement to psychedelic exploration. Calling on the framework and skills of this modality I support clients with better understanding the parts of their psyche, both conscious and unconscious, that are desiring attention and healing.

My coaching style is grounded in presence, compassion, and curiosity. Alongside my training I call upon my passion for transpersonal psychology, shamanic frameworks, and Jungian archetypes. I currently live in Philadelphia with my partner and our toddler son.

WHY KALEIDOSCOPE EYE?

Like the view inside a kaleidoscope our lives are colorful and ever-changing, unpredictable while full of patterns. Even the slightest rotation of the viewfinder can wildly change the picture we see. The possibilities are endless. And the fullness we get to experience is ultimately a matter of our perspective.
